| Porofil is a wetting fluid normally used for samples prior to Flow Porometry measurement. It may also be used as a porous material wetting liquid for other purposes, such as the determination of porosity from an external volume and the Porofil measured internal volume. The properties of Porofil are ideal for wetting virtually all materials with a Zero Contact Angle.
This product used to be available from Coulter Corporation and then most recently from Beckman Coulter Corp. and is the recommended wetting fluid for the Coulter Porometer series of insruments. Porofil is available in 100 ml bottles. An MSDS is provided and is available on request. | These reference kits are suitable for all Porometer Instruments. Regular use of these kits assures instrument performance. Two pore sizes are currently available. They are 25 mm diameter disks.
