| Porofil is a wetting fluid normally used for samples prior to Flow Porometry measurement. It may also be used as a porous material wetting liquid for other purposes, such as the determination of porosity from an external volume and the Porofil measured internal volume. The properties of Porofil are ideal for wetting virtually all materials with a Zero Contact Angle.
This product used to be available from Coulter Corporation and then most recently from Beckman Coulter Corp. and is the recommended wetting fluid for the Coulter Porometer series of insruments. Porofil is available under the part number of 9902458, a box of 4 x 100 ml bottles. An MSDS is provided and is available on request. |
