| The ONSPEC UI Sensor is a compact Ultrasonic Interferometry (UI) sensing unit that can be mounted directly on operating machinery, engine test-stand or other equipment. Several available sensor probes mountings may be connected to the control module and give the ONSPEC Sensor wide applicability and operating temperature range. The ONSPEC unit control unit connects to the USB port of a PC (several may be connected to the same computer). The control software may be operated or interogated over an network (LAN or WAN). |

| The UI technology was initially developed for an On-Engine SOOT and Viscosity Sensor. Other oil applications are Transmission Oil, Transformer Oil Degradation Sensor, as an Oil-blending monitor and a water in hydraulic oil sensor. Many other applications are possible andcan be developed easily with the Application Development Software Pack. There are many application possibilities for this technology. |

| The sensor electronics requires a 12v power source. For some laboratory applications, it may be operated from a mains power supply. With the addition of the optional laboratory probe, it may also be used for some bench top or mobile applications. |
